Detailed 4-Day Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Leave Nairobi & Travel to Masai Mara National Reserve
Your driver-guide will pick you up from the agreed location and brief you about the trip before starting the journey to Masai Mara National Reserve, home to many wild animals. Along the way, you will stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for photos.
When you arrive in the Masai Mara, go for an afternoon game drive across the plains to search for animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, elands, and wildebeests. Later, head to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight rest.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara
Spend the whole day exploring the Masai Mara plains on game drives and visiting the Masai community. During the game drives, you will look for the Big Five animals: lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes. You may also see giraffes, zebras, warthogs, wildebeests, kudu, bushbucks, and other antelopes.

Day 3: Travel to Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 4: Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi
