Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Akagera National Park
Upon your arrival in Rwanda for this 3-day safari, you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to Akagera National Park. Begin with a 2-hour morning game drive, then return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Ihema, one of Rwanda’s largest lakes. After the boat ride, head back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive
Start the day with an early breakfast before embarking on a 3-hour journey to the northern section of Akagera National Park. Carry a packed lunch to enjoy during the game drive.
Spend the day exploring the park’s wildlife, including elephants, topis, and buffaloes, as you drive through the steep hills of Mutumba.
After a full day of wildlife viewing, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
