4 Days Uganda Safari Overview

This 4 days gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi safari is customized to offer you a challenging Uganda gorilla trekking experience and nice relaxation aftermath. You will trek gorillas in the forests of Bwindi and relax at the breathtaking views of Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale. For a superb experience, luxury is recommended. Mid-range does offer an exciting experience as well.

4 Day Uganda Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park

After having an early morning breakfast on this first day of your Uganda safari holiday, A tour guide from our tours and travel agency will pick you up and get on an 8 – 9 hour journey to Bwindi Forest National Park in south-western Uganda with stopovers at the Equator for photography and coffee and Mbarara (Igongo Cultural Center) for lunch. We should reach in the evening, have dinner and retire for an overnight as we get set for a thrilling tourist activity the following day.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

This day we bond with our long term brothers and sisters in the thick forests of Bwindi. Notably, Mountain Gorillas do share over 98% of human DNA hence, you won’t notice any difference within their actions and gestures. We shall have a brief meeting at the park headquarters from 7:30 – 8:00 am and then make our way to the forest to locate these primates, an experience that should take us 2 – 8 hours inclusive of a full 1 hour experience depending on how hard it was to locate these primates. We shall then return to our lodge for lunch and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi immediately.

Day 3: Whole day at Lake Bunyonyi

This day we shall spend a full day in Lake Bunyonyi relaxing and carrying minor activities like boat rides, canoeing, visiting the local communities around along with other minor activities. The whole point of you going to Lake Bunyonyi is not only to have the best sights of this magical lake along with learning its history and wild facts but also try and cab down the fatigue from the previous day’s day’s mountain gorilla tracking experience.

Overnight and meal plan same as on day 2.

Day 4: Return to Kampala

On day 4 we shall rise to an early morning breakfast then transfer back to Entebbe International Airport with lunch en route in Igongo Cultural Center, Mbarara. We should reach Kampala in the evening where your guide will transfer you to the airport to catch up with your flight back home.
