Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Leave Nairobi for Samburu National Reserve and game drive (optional)
Welcome to Kenya! Karibu! Jambo! Your driver guide will greet you and give a briefing about this great safari to Samburu National Reserve. This special reserve is known for zebras, Somali ostriches, leopards, cheetahs, Beisa oryx, and more.
You will drive about 6 hours to Samburu National Reserve. After arriving, have a late lunch. If you already ate lunch on the way, you can go for an optional evening game drive to see wild animals and enjoy nature. Check in to your accommodation to end the day.
Day 2: Game drives
Take morning and evening game drives in this beautiful park. You will see many animals such as mammals, reptiles, birds, and butterflies. Some animals you might spot are lions, cheetahs, zebras, oryx, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and others. The game drives last 2 to 3 hours but can be longer if you want. You can enjoy special moments like picnic lunches, sunrises, and sunsets during the day.
Day 3: Morning game drive and return to Nairobi
Start early with a morning game drive to spot predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas. These animals are more active early in the morning, so it is easier to see them. After the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. Then, travel back to Nairobi for your flight home.
