Detailed 4-Day Uganda Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, a tour guide from our company will pick you up and begin the long journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The drive takes about 8–9 hours, with a brief stop at the Equator for photography and coffee.
Lunch will be served at Igongo Cultural Center before continuing the drive to Bwindi Forest.
On arrival, enjoy dinner and relax as you prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure the next day.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Buhoma and Batwa Community Walk
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters by 7:30 a.m. for a 30-minute briefing on gorilla trekking, including guidelines and safety precautions.
You will be divided into groups and assigned a gorilla family to track.
Once in the forest, you will search for the mountain gorillas. Upon finding them, enjoy a one-hour interaction.
Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch and later, visit the Batwa to learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the Batwa people.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Rushaga
The day begins similarly to Day 2, but this time, you will trek a different gorilla family in Rushaga, located in the southern sector of Bwindi.
Rushaga is an excellent location for gorilla trekking and offers a new opportunity to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat.
Day 4: Transfer to Kampala
On the final day, you will transfer back to Kampala. Along the way, enjoy lunch in Mbarara and coffee at the Equator before continuing to Entebbe International Airport for a late drop-off in time for your departure flight.
