Day 4: Flight to Masai Mara, Kenya
You will fly from Bwindi to Entebbe and from Entebbe to Maasai Mara in Kenya. Head out for Kenya’s best safari destination, Masai Mara national reserve in the southern region. Upon arrival, our Kenyan safari guide will meet and greet you at the airfield. In case you land in Nairobi city, embark on the approximately four to six-hours’ onward trip to Masai Mara. There is a photo break at the huge rift valley. After eating lunch while traveling, you’ll enjoy a late check-in at the resort inside or close to the park. The day is done after dinner.
Day 5: Full day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve
The whole day will be devoted to monitoring lions, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs and other animals; for photography and hoping to see a hunt or an elephant giving birth; learning more about hyenas and observing more love birds, ostriches and flamingos. However, this is wilderness with no guarantee of encountering animals but only pure luck.
By sunset, it is hoped that your favorite animal will appear. Bush breakfast and picnic will be held. A spectacular moment with the big wildebeest migration, Masai River will be the location for lunch and a good portion of the evening. While here, you’ll keep an eye out for animals like kingfishers, hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and a restful snooze will mark the end of this day.
Day 6: Departure
Check out of the resort following a morning breakfast and depart for Nairobi, the agreed drop-off location. A sunrise game drive, which may give you a chance to see some of the creatures you might have missed the day before is a gratifying experience. Don’t forget to pick up a few trinkets to remember the trip.
End of safari.
