Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda
When you arrive at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda by our tour guide. The ride should be around 4 – 5 hours filled with exceptional scenic views. When you reach Bwindi, you will check in to your accommodation place and relax as you get set for your mountain gorilla trekking adventure the following day.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi and Batwa Cultural Trail
Rise for an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a short pre-briefing meeting before making your strides into the jungles of Bwindi. Your trek should last for two to eight hours depending on how long you take to locate the gorillas. This include a 1 hour close experience with these primates. After tracking, you will head back to the lodge for lunch and refreshment then head for a cultural trail with the Batwa Pygmies. You will enjoy story telling moments, hunt and dance with them.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and visit Twin Lakes
This day you transfer to Volcanoes National Park Musanze – The home of Rwanda’s mountain gorillas. You will have your lunch en route. In the evening, you will tour the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo around the park. You will engage in so many activities like cultural trails, boat rides, nature treks and more.

Day 4: Volcanoes Gorilla Tracking and Iby’Iwacu Cultural Visit
Rise to an early morning break fast meal and head to the park headquarters in Kinigi for briefing. This meeting should enlighten you on the dos and donts of gorilla tracking in Rwanda. From here, you will be randomly assigned a gorilla family to track unless special arrangements are made with us in advance. You will then go to the jungles to search for mountain gorillas. The activity last for 2 to 8 hours.
In the afternoon you will head to Iby’Iwacu cultural village for a cultural trail. This place is apparently the best spot in Rwanda for culture. You will surely love it.

Day 5: Kigali City Tour and Departure
This day you will carry out a city tour around Kigali as you wait for your departure. You will be dropped at the airport at least 1 hour to the time of your departure.
