Day 1: A Warm Welcome to Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Meet your guide for a short briefing and transfer to your hotel. If time allows, visit the Maasai Market to shop for local crafts and souvenirs.

Day 2: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut (2700m)

After breakfast, begin your hike from Marangu Gate (1980m). Register with the Kilimanjaro National Park authorities, then start trekking through the rainforest. Arrive at Mandara Hut for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Horombo Hut (3720m)

After breakfast, trek to Horombo Hut. Pass through the Maundi Crater and enjoy views of Kibo Crater. The 6-hour trek crosses moorland with plants like giant lobelia and groundsel. Have dinner and rest at Horombo Hut.

Day 4: Mawenzi Hut (4600m) – Acclimatization

Spend a full day adjusting to the altitude. You may choose to hike to Mawenzi Hut (4600m) or rest at Horombo Hut to prepare for the next stage.

Day 5: Kibo Hut (4700m)

Start your day with tea or coffee, then continue trekking between the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Arrive at Kibo Hut in the afternoon, have dinner, and rest early before your summit attempt.

Day 6: Uhuru Peak (5895m) & Return to Horombo Hut

Start the climb before dawn, passing Gillman’s Point (5681m) and following the snow-covered trail to Uhuru Peak, Africa’s highest point. After enjoying the views, descend to Kibo Hut for lunch, then continue to Horombo Hut for the night.

Day 7: Marangu Gate – Arusha

Descend to Marangu Gate, sign the park register, and receive your climbing certificate. Drive to Arusha for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Maasai Cultural Tour

Visit Olpopongi Maasai Village to learn about Maasai culture and traditions. Later, visit Shanga Village for more cultural experiences and enjoy traditional meals.

Day 9: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park for a full day of wildlife viewing. See large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many bird species.

Day 10: Lake Manyara National Park

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for another day of game drives. Look out for tree-climbing lions, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, flamingos, and impalas.

Day 11: Visit the Hadzabe Bushmen

After breakfast, visit Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe Bushmen and learn about their traditional hunting lifestyle. You will also visit the Dagota pastoral community before returning to Karatu.

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater

Travel to Ngorongoro Crater, home to over 30,000 animals including lions, elephants, hippos, zebras, and rhinos. Enjoy a guided game drive before relaxing at a lodge near the crater rim.

Day 13: To Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park, known for its vast plains and wildlife. Enjoy a game drive as you enter the park.

Day 14–15: Serengeti National Park

Spend two full days in Serengeti. Watch the wildebeest migration (depending on the season), enjoy game drives, and spot the Big Five. Birdwatchers can also see many unique species.

Day 16: Serengeti to Zanzibar

Transfer to Seronera Airstrip and fly to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your guide will transfer you to Stone Town. Visit Prison Island and later enjoy seafood at Forodhani Gardens.

Day 17: Explore Stone Town

Spend the day exploring Stone Town’s historic sites, including the Palace Museum, Slave Chambers, House of Wonders, and the Old Fort. Later, visit craft shops and relax at Nungwi Beach.

Day 18–20: Zanzibar Beach Experience

Enjoy three relaxing days at the beach. Take part in optional activities like snorkeling, jet skiing, or paragliding. Spend your afternoons relaxing by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

Day 21: Departure
