Detailed 2-Day Tanzania Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park from Arusha. Afternoon game drive.
Receive a warm welcome and be picked up from any agreed point in Arusha by the assigned driver guide. Immediately transfer to Tarangire National Park.
This park is known for hosting large herds of elephants and baobab trees that are well-dotted in the savannah plains, offering incredible scenery.
Enjoy the great scenery while on a game drive, watching animals like elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, wildebeests, and much more.
End the day after checking in at the lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Head to Lake Manyara National Park. Game drive and transfer back to Arusha.
Begin the day with breakfast at the lodge and then head to Lake Manyara National Park, a conservation area known for housing the rare tree-climbing lions that are also spotted in Queen Elizabeth National Park of Uganda, throughout Africa.
While on the way, make a stopover at Mto Wa Mbu to see and buy some handmade crafts; another stopover will be at the Rift Valley viewpoint.
Upon arrival, take a short game drive where you will encounter different wildlife such as climbing lions, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, warthogs, antelopes, various bird species, and much more.
