Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali and head to Akagera National Park. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours and offers beautiful views along the way.
If you enjoy music, it will be played in the vehicle for your entertainment.
Upon arrival at the park office, register and begin a morning game drive lasting about 2 hours.
During the drive, you can spot wildlife such as lions, warthogs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, elands, impalas, sitatungas, and birds like the grey-backed fiscal, long-crested eagle, rare shoebill stork, hadada ibis, and Abyssinian ground horn-bill.
After the game drive, enjoy lunch and then take a two-hour boat cruise on Lake Ihema.
This cruise offers the chance to see water-loving animals like hippos, crocodiles, and various birds such as fish eagles and kingfishers.
