Day 1: Travel from Kampala/Entebbe to Lake Mburo for a Wildlife Tour
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your residence/hotel in Kampala or Entebbe city. Afterward, our experienced safari guide will pick you up, and you will set off for Lake Mburo National Park via the Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara route.
En route, stop at the Equator for a brief visit before continuing to the lodge for check-in and relaxation.
Lake Mburo National Park is located in Kiruhura, Western Uganda, and supports a variety of wildlife species, including hippos, zebras, leopards, 350 bird species, topis, giraffes, bush babies, elands, oribis, klipspringers, and more.
Day 2: Full Day Activities: Game Drive & Launch Cruise Excursion
After an early morning breakfast, meet the driver-guide and prepare for a game drive to explore the abundant wildlife in Lake Mburo National Park. This 2-3 hour game drive provides unforgettable sightings of animals such as zebras, Cape buffaloes, waterbucks, topis, bushbucks, giraffes, leopards, impalas, warthogs, and various birds.
Return to the lodge for lunch, then set off for an afternoon launch cruise excursion on Lake Mburo. Along the lake shores, keep an eye out for aquatic life, especially hippos, crocodiles, and birds like pelicans, fish eagles, crested francolins, African grey hornbill, white-winged warblers, scimitar bills, herons, yellow-breasted apalis, and African finfoot.
Day 3: Departure
Wake up and enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee. Afterward, choose a memorable activity: horseback riding, a cycling excursion, or a nature walk.
