Day 1: Fly from Entebbe to Kidepo Valley National Park
This journey involves taking a domestic flight from Entebbe to Kidepo Valley Airstrip, which is within the park. The flight provides a quicker way to reach the park, offering aerial views of Uganda’s landscapes.
A driver will be waiting for you upon landing in Kidepo to transfer you to your booked hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drives and Karamojong Cultural Tour
After an early breakfast on this second day of your 3-Day Kidepo safari, the driver will transfer you to the starting point of your game drive. Game drives are fantastic for exploring the park’s wildlife and scenery.
A morning game drive is recommended, as this is when animals are most active. Evening and night drives are also available, offering opportunities to spot nocturnal animals.
During the game drive, you may see diverse wildlife, such as lions, antelopes, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. The park’s open savannah landscape allows for close encounters with these animals.
