Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, Equator Stopover, and Boat Safari
You’ll be picked up from Kampala or Entebbe and transferred to Lake Mburo National Park, a drive of about 3 to 4 hours.
Lake Mburo is known for having many impalas and zebras and is the only national park close to Kampala.
On the way, enjoy stops, including one at the Uganda Equator for photos, snacks, and a simple experiment. You can also stop at local markets to buy fresh Ugandan fruits.
On arrival, head to the restaurant by Lake Mburo for lunch. At 2:00 pm, go on a boat cruise to see water animals like crocodiles and hippos, as well as many birds like pelicans, herons, and fish eagles. Afterward, go to your lodge for the night.
Day 2: Game Drive and Return to Kampala with Lunch at the Equator
Start the day with breakfast, then head out on a game drive with a park ranger. The drive takes about 2 hours, where you’ll see animals like zebras, elands, topis, warthogs, impalas, and buffaloes.
After the game drive, return to Kampala with a stop at the Uganda Equator for lunch and souvenirs.
You will be dropped off at your agreed location, marking the end of your 2-Day Lake Mburo safari.
