Day 2

You will board a boat and enjoy the beauty of the scenery and landscape as you take pictures.Lake Tanganyika is the second largest and the deepest freshwater lake in the world. In the evening, you will continue with the bujumbura town tour and visit the mausoleum of prince louis rwagasore and the livingstone-stanley museum to discover more about the culture of burundi before you are transferred back to your hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast, you’ll take a short drive to Vyanda Nature Reserve for a Chimpanzee trek. Chimpanzees are our closest relatives as they share over 80% of our genetic makeup. The nature reserve is close to Lake Tanganyika which may mean you’ll see other animals along the way. You’ll stay with them for the allotted time taking photos and then head back to your accommodation for lunch.
In the afternoon you’ll continue with a village walk where you’ll meet local people and learn about their way of life and how they manage to preserve the wildlife in the reserve.
Day 4
After breakfast, you’ll drive for a few minutes to Teza’s tea factory, where you’ll get an in-depth look at what goes on behind the scenes during your day tour. The estate’s lush greenery is calming and peaceful, and the countryside’s freshness permeates the air.
The tour is farm to cup, and you’ll sample the various tea classes as you enjoy the cool weather at local farmers’ homes. Whether you’re a black tea aficionado (or not), you’re in for a treat as this tea has a distinct flavor unlike anything you’ve tasted before.
The area also produces enough tea to meet the needs of the international market, so you’ll be able to take some home for a while before heading back to your hotel Residence Ubuntu.
Day 5
After breakfast, you will visit Saga beach, which is a beautiful sandy beach that will impress you and depending on your flight time, you will have fun at the beach and go swimming if you want to before you are transferred to the Bujumbura International Airport to catch your flight back home, with all the beautiful memories of Burundi.
