When you enter the park, you will be greeted by beautiful trees and a variety of wildlife. Enjoy your packed lunch and begin your first game drive. Expect to see impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, monkeys, and baboons.
Keep an eye out for the tree-climbing lions that Lake Manyara is famous for. The park is also home to many birds, including large flocks of flamingos.
Later in the day, drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park via Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Serengeti, known as the “heart of wild Africa,” is home to the largest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania. Continue to the central area called Seronera, which is rich in wildlife and known for big cats like lions and leopards.
Arrive at your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you can either relax or go for an optional game drive before dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the Serengeti plains. Explore different parts of the park, each offering unique habitats and wildlife.
The central area, Seronera Valley, is known for large populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, and hyenas. The Seronera River attracts many animals throughout the year.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 4: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a packed picnic lunch.
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most famous natural wonders in Africa, surrounded by volcanoes and filled with watering holes that attract wildlife. The crater is home to more than 3,000 animals, including lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, and many birds.
