Detailed 3-Day Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from Arusha for Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and brief you about the safari. You will then begin your journey to Serengeti National Park, part of the northern Tanzania safari circuit.
This safari is best enjoyed between June and September, when the wildebeest migration is at its peak. During this time, you will see herds of wildebeests, zebras, elands, and gazelles moving across the plains.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the Serengeti.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive – Wildebeest Migration & Big Five Viewing
After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Carry your packed lunch and spend the day exploring the park.
During the morning, watch predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas hunting for food. You will also see elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and wild dogs.
