Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda, home to mountain gorillas. The drive takes about 8 to 9 hours.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Start early and go to the park headquarters by 7:30 am for a briefing before gorilla trekking. The activity can take between 2 and 8 hours, including one hour spent with the gorillas once you find them.
