Detailed 5-Day Rwanda Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, meet your Rwanda safari guide and company representative. After a short briefing, transfer to Kigali City for lunch before heading to Nyungwe Forest National Park in southern Rwanda. The drive takes about six hours, passing through the countryside. Stop at the National Museum of Rwanda in Butare for a short visit. Arrive in Nyungwe in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Canopy Walk

Start early at 5:00 am with breakfast, then transfer to the park meeting point for chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe Forest.
