Afterward, continue to your lodge inside the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

After breakfast, set out for a morning game drive through Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest conservation area.

You will see animals such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, oribis, and waterbucks. Return to your lodge for lunch and some rest.

In the afternoon, go on a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the falls. You will spot hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species, including the shoebill stork.

If time allows, you may take a short hike to the top of Murchison Falls to view the waterfall before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Upon arrival, your driver will transfer you to your lodge for check-in and relaxation. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay as you prepare for the gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trekking adventure.

You will be assigned to a group and guided by experienced rangers through the forest in search of a gorilla family. Trekking can take between two to six hours, depending on where the gorillas are located.

Once you find them, spend one hour watching the gorillas as they feed, play, and care for their young.

After lunch, visit the Batwa community, where you will learn about their traditional lifestyle. The Batwa will share stories, perform songs and dances, and demonstrate how they lived and survived in the forest before conservation efforts began.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
