Gorilla Trekking in June – For all three mountain gorilla trekking destinations—Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo—June is typically regarded as the driest month of the year.
However, we do not primarily provide African gorilla tours in the Congo; we only offer them frequently in Rwanda and Uganda.
June has a pleasant environment and weather. One of the driest months is probably June. Compared to the rainy months, the trails are comparatively easier to hike.
Since most gorilla permits are sold out at least six months in advance, booking one in June is quite competitive.
The gorillas are drawn to the lower base of the mountains during the rainy months of the year, when there is an abundance of fruits and foliage at the forest’s base, shortening the duration of the treks.
The excursions are much longer during the drier months, though, because gorillas are constantly moving in search of food.
In order to keep up with demand, hotels raise their rates in high-demand months like June. In June and other high-demand months, hotel rates are frequently fixed.
A peak season month with lots of travel is June. The summer months of June through August are when many tourists intend to visit Africa.
