Best time to visit Bwindi

Bwindi impenetrable forest national park can be visited all year round but for people who are going to use sedan seat stretchers, the best time to visit the park is in the dry months of June to September and December to February. During this time the roads to the park are very accessible and the trekking trails are not muddy and slippery making it easy for the potters to traverse the jungle with the sedan seat stretcher.

How to get to Bwindi

Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is located in the south western part and can be reached within 9-10 hours drive from Kampala by road or tourists can fly to Kihihi airstrip in the park near the park from Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi airfield.
