Gorilla Trekking in January – In Rwanda and Uganda, January is one of the driest months with either little or no precipitation. Thus, one of the greatest months to enjoy your gorilla trekking expedition is January.
Additional dry months that provide an excellent gorilla trekking experience include February, June, July, August, September, and December.
Please be aware, though, that because gorillas live in tropical rain forests, it may rain a lot on some days in January even though little to no precipitation is predicted.
Booking your Gorilla Tracking Permit for January
To ensure that your gorilla permit is obtained when there are still openings, it is recommended that you make reservations at least four to five months in advance if you intend to go gorilla trekking in January.
Additionally, if you make your reservation in early, you can select the sector to track from and the best lodge options while there are still openings.
For instance, if you want to track the gorilla families in Buhoma, you must reserve your safari in advance because the Buhoma sector typically sells out four months prior to the tracking date.
Rushaga, Nkuringo, Ruhija, and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park are some of the other areas in Bwindi.
Even while we recommend that customers reserve their gorilla trekking permits in advance, you are welcome to ask if you are in a situation where you must make a last-minute reservation.
Based on the dates you give us, we will verify if permits are available and notify you as necessary.
