Day 2: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, start your day with a morning game drive in the northern plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The park is home to elephants, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, hyenas, elands, and many other species. Take time to watch and photograph these incredible animals.
Return to the lodge for lunch, then head out for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward.
You will see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and many bird species along the shoreline. In the evening, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with a Visit to Ishasha Sector
After breakfast, travel south to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is well known for its tree-climbing lions, often seen resting in large fig trees.
After lunch, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its mountain gorillas.
The drive takes about five hours through beautiful countryside and rolling hills. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy dinner and overnight rest as you prepare for the gorilla trek the next day.

After breakfast, meet at the park headquarters for a briefing by the rangers on the rules and guidelines of gorilla trekking.
You will then begin your hike through dense forest and steep hills to find a gorilla family. Once found, spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants as they feed, play, and interact.
Return to your lodge for lunch and rest. In the evening, you may take an optional nature walk with a ranger to spot birds and black-and-white colobus monkeys before returning for dinner and overnight stay.
