Detailed 7-Day Tanzania Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Pick Up
Arrive at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, where our company representative will warmly welcome you. You will receive a short briefing about your safari before being transferred to your hotel for relaxation and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park – Home of Tree-Climbing Lions
After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, about three hours from Arusha. Enjoy scenic views of the countryside along the way.
Arrive at the park, check in at your lodge, and have lunch. In the afternoon, go on a game drive to spot tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and many bird species such as flamingos. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 3: Game Viewing & Drive to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive in Lake Manyara before driving to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations.
The park is home to the Big Five, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, and elephants; as well as huge herds of wildebeests and zebras. Arrive at your lodge in time for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park. This park is one of Tanzania’s top safari destinations and offers excellent opportunities to see a wide range of animals.
You will visit the Seronera Valley and Sogore River, known for their rich wildlife. Look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, and many bird species.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy another morning game drive in Serengeti before leaving for Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most famous natural wonders in Africa.
Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and relax as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.
Day 6: Full-Day Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater floor is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild while watching the animals roam freely. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Return to Arusha & Departure
Have breakfast or a morning cup of tea or coffee before checking out. Drive back to Arusha city, marking the end of your 7-Day Tanzania Safari.
You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your flight home or to your next destination.
