Detailed 3-Day Serengeti Flying Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Serengeti – Sunset Game Drive
At the scheduled time, you will meet your company representative at Kilimanjaro Airport for a briefing about your 3-Day Serengeti Flying Safari.
After the briefing, board a flight to Serengeti National Park and enjoy aerial views of the landscapes below. On arrival, your guide will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to the park headquarters for registration before heading to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the late afternoon, go for a sunset game drive across the Serengeti plains. Look out for black-backed jackals, hyenas, lions, wild dogs, and owls, among others.
After about 2–3 hours of wildlife viewing, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Sunrise Game Drive & Maasai Cultural Adventure
Wake up early around 6:00 a.m. and set off for a sunrise game drive in the open grasslands of the Serengeti. The drive lasts 4–5 hours, giving you a chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, rhinos, and many bird species.
You may also witness a predator hunt or a newborn animal in the wild, truly unforgettable moments. Enjoy a bush breakfast before returning to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, visit a Maasai village for a cultural experience. Learn about their traditions, songs, dances, cuisine, and way of life. The Maasai are among the oldest communities in East Africa and are known for their deep connection to cattle and their traditional lifestyle that has remained unchanged for centuries.
Your visit will include stops at their manyattas (homesteads) and kraals (livestock enclosures), giving you an authentic look into Maasai culture.
Day 3: Departure
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and take a return flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, our company representative will assist you with any final arrangements before you continue your journey.
