14-DAY BEST OF SOUTH AFRICA AND MOZAMBIQUE.
This fortnight gives you a chance to spend some precious time in both south Africa and Mozambique, filling your honeymoon with beautiful memories, full of wonderful wildlife adventures and exciting activities ranging from city exploration in Cape Town to wine tours, safari game rides and relaxation on the pristine, white-sand beaches of Mozambique. Upon stepping your first foot in Cape Town, you will be blown away by the beautiful scenery, delicious food, different thrilling activities, and the luxurious city hotel. In addition, you will drive into the beautiful Winelands, go whale watching off the Cape coast, enjoy a ‘big 5’ safari and relax at one of the world’s most pristine and unspoilt beach destinations.
Day 1
Upon arrival, you will be met by a wayfarer representative who will handover the hire car keys to you, with the help of a digital copy of a detailed set of driving directions, a list of emergency contact numbers and a sat-nav system, you will be able to drive safely to your city hotel which will be your home for the next three nights. You’ll get a chance to experience Cape Town’s incredible food and drink scene as you enjoy breakfast at your hotel. In the afternoon you can explore the green market square, Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, or you can hike to the top of Lion’s Head. In the evening, you can head to one of the various restaurants in Cape Town and enjoy your favorite dinner.
Day 2 – 4
You will spend three days exploring Cape Town and enjoying the comforts of your hotel. The city itself offers a fantastic array of activities and day trips with the option of a city tour which includes a trip to the famous table mountain where you can taste seafood at one of the city’s incredibly trendy food markets. The other day you can explore highlights at the cape peninsula and these include boulders, beach penguins and a guided tour to the stunning Winelands that surround the city. In Simon’s town, you will visit the famous African penguins at boulders bay, and at Langa township visit community projects, craft markets, restaurants and shebeens. Another wonderful place to visit is the Cape point nestled at the top of Cape peninsula, Southwest of Cape town where you can have a glimpse at the thrilling Indian ocean waters and the beautiful mountain scenery,walk the shipwreck trail and learn about the maritime history of Cape Point, spot cape mountain zebra in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, or take the Flying Dutchman Funicular to see the old lighthouse

Day 5
In the morning you will be greeted with a delicious breakfast after which you’ll be transferred to Cape town airport for a domestic flight to Kruger national Park surrounding area. On arrival, you will be picked up by your representative who will drive you safely to the luxurious camp located in the Makalali Conservancy reserve near Kruger national Park where you will base from as you tour around or inside Kruger national Park.
Day 6-7
An expert guide will guide you to the early morning game drive that is more preferable to see the big cats ( lion, leopard and cheetah) in action. You will experience a bush breakfast after which you’ll return to the camp to rest or relax besides the pool waiting for lunch. In the late afternoon you’ll have another game drive in this breathtaking reserve to witness more wildlife species like elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, white and black rhino, hippo, cheetah, crocodile, hyenas, wild dog, zebras, giraffe, and several species of buck.After marveling at Kruger’s fantastic wildlife and enjoying a sunset drink overlooking the conservancy, you return for a sumptuous dinner under the stars and your first night in the African bush.
Day 8
After breakfast and a morning game drive, you will be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport to catch your flight to Johannesburg airport where you will be met and driven by your representative to the beautiful boutique hotel peacefully set in luxuriant gardens with a swimming pool outside accompanied by a restaurant, nestled in a leafy suburb of Melrose.
Day 9
On this day you are transferred to the airport to catch your direct domestic flight to Vilanculos, on landing you will be picked up and driven to your hotel. Above the dazzling coastal lagoons of south central Mozambique, on a plateau lies an ocean facing Haven known as Bahia Mar which is suitable for someone who wants to relax or enjoy leisure. The place is adjoining to abundant indigenous gardens beautifully dotted with palm and acacia trees and their beautiful scenery is accompanied by the turquoise waters of the Mozambique channel. You can also engage yourself in different activities like kitesurfing, snorkeling and scuba diving on the sanded beaches or even in the warm waters of the Indian ocean which is a few steps away.
Day 10-13
You are free to relax and enjoy your leisure during these days or even going for an outing on a boat trip to the nearest islands where you will be able to spot dolphins, sharks, and endangered dugongs if you are fortunate. You can visit local villages and fishermen’s markets,or have a tuk tuk tour drive along the vast coast or even a sailing trip on a traditional dhow to explore new things. You can have a remarkable tour if you engage yourself in some of the water based adventure activities including,snorkeling, diving, wakeboarding, kite surfing, windsurfing, fat biking, horse riding and canoeing on the Govuro River or land based adventure activities like beach soccer, volleyball, relaxing while sipping cocktails by the swimming pool as you bask along the vilanculos beaches.
Day 14
Today you will wake up to set your eyes on the beautiful coastline for the last time. After a lovely breakfast, you will be transferred to Vilanculos Airport for a domestic flight back to Johannesburg after which you’ll connect to your international flight back home. By the time you travel back home you’d have a lot of stories to tell family and friends about Mozambique and its oceans, marine life and unspoiled beaches, along with South Africa’s Kruger National Park and its lovely wildlife.
