Day 1: Windhoek to Etosha National Park – Afternoon Game Drive through the Park
Upon arrival at the Windhoek airport, you will be picked up by a tour guide who will later drive you to Etosha National Park.
The drive to the park will take approximately 4 hours.
Upon arrival in the National Park, you will drive at a slower speed to have the opportunity to sight some of the rare species of animals that inhabit the National Park.
Continue the drive up to the lodge where you will unwind from the journey, and later, the team of experts at the lodge will serve you a well-marinated lunch.
Embark on an afternoon game drive through the flat landscapes of the National Park.
This will provide you with opportunities to view a variety of animals that live within, especially gemsboks, Oryx, Oribis, bat-eared foxes, leopard turtles, and aardwolves.
These species are endemic to the semi-arid climate of the National Park, which adds to the uniqueness of this beautiful outback, as it’s the only National Park where they can be seen in large numbers.
