Day 1: Transfer to Erindi Game Reserve

Pick up at the hotel in Windhoek and head off to Erindi Game Reserve in Southeastern Omaruru, Northwestern Namibia.

The word Erindi means a place of water with remarkably incredible lush scenery.

The reserve spans 790 sq. km and features lush grasslands, savanna, and rugged mountains where abundant fauna survive.

Early arrival followed by a delicious lunch break and later a guided afternoon game drive.

A game drive excursion will come with astonishing sightings of Kudus, zebras, elephants, rhinos, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeest, and several avifaunal species.

Day 2: Full day excursion in Erindi Game Reserve

A hefty breakfast will be enjoyed early morning and after, expect a whole day expedition in Erindi Game Reserve.

This includes a guided bush walk for you to have a close interaction with the reserve’s small and large mammals.

Day 3: Transfer to Twyfelfontein

Leave Erindi for Twyfelfontein, one of Namibia’s spectacular desert areas.

This site lies within the Kunene area, Northwestern Namibia and holds up to 2000 rock carvings and was designated as a UNESCO site in 2007.

The key highlights at Twyfelfontein include a nature drive and guided desert elephant safari.

Day 4: Drive to Etosha National Park – (ENP)

Wake up and enjoy a leisurely breakfast, after, set off to Etosha National Park.

This is one of the most accessible destinations in Namibia and Southern Africa as a whole, offering remarkable sights of the big game and other wildlife as they congregate around the few waterholes.

Get a remarkable treat to a guided afternoon game drive for you to catch up with some of the big game.

Day 5: Full day game drive

Set off on a memorable game drive with your cameras fully prepared for action-packed photography experience.

Over 114 mammal species reside within Etosha National Park, and your day sightings will include elephants, zebras, wild dogs, rhinos, elephants, lions, leopards, and others.

Day 6: Visit Grootfontein

Start your trip early to Grootfontein – also referred to as Big Fountain.

En-route, expect to make a stopover at Tsumeb for you to do some shopping and also pay a visit to the Bushmen village.

Arrive early, and your area of target will be Mangetti National Park where you will have great sights of sables, elephants, gemsbok, Burchell’s zebras, steenbok, giraffes, impalas, elands, and many others.

Day 7: Transfer to Divundu

Pick up early in the morning and after, set off to the Kavango River, where you will have a great time at Mahango Game Reserve.

Keep eyes on the reserve’s abundant wildlife (including giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, antelopes) and also get a chance to explore huge baobabs.

You will continue via Caprivi, and also get some sightings at Bwabata National Park, and while here, you will come across road signage indicating ‘Beware of Elephants.’

The route is known for its huge concentration of elephants that migrate from Chobe to Zambezi.

Day 8: A full day in Divundu

Wake up early in the morning and have a tasty cup of tea/coffee, then begin your full day game viewing with an experienced guide.

Keep eyes on diversity of early risers, take pictures and later, you will have late afternoon Mokoro boat cruise (traditional canoe ride).

Day 9: Transfer to Kasane

Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, head off to Kasane – meeting point for all the 4 Southern African states – Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, and Namibia.

This area isn’t only popular for its huge profusion of elephants but also beautiful hot springs – credited for their medicinal powers.

You will have an afternoon boat cruise at Kasane along the Chobe River.

Day 10: Departure at Kasane Airport

Leave your safari lodge for Kasane International Airport, where you will take a flight back home.

The airport lies 4 km South of Kasane town, Chobe District in Botswana, and today brings to an end the 10-day Namibia Big 5 wildlife safari tour.
