7 DAY MOROCCO TOUR ITINERARY FROM FES.
This 7-day/6-night tour will take you to some of the most beautiful places in Morocco, including Meknes, the capital of Ismailia, the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen, and the capital cities of Rabat, Casablanca, and Marrakech. Along the way, you will be able to take in the stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’Tichka Pass. You will also visit the Kasbah in Ait-Ben Haddou, the studios in Ouarazazate city and the Todra gorges, and the Sahara desert in Merzouga, where you can ride camels, spend a night in a tent in the middle of the desert, and witness the magic of the sunset and sunrise across the Sahara. After that, you will visit a Barbary macaque in the cedars forest and Switzerland of Morocco Lfrane, and finally, the tour will end in Fes.

Day 1
The 7 day tour begins with an early morning pickup from the airport or from your accommodation in Fes. From there, we depart to Meknes, the capital of the Ismailis and one of their imperial cities, where we will visit Bab Al Mansour, Sahrij souani basin, royal stables, granary and the mausoleum, you will then have free lunch.

From Meknes, we drive 30 km away to visit the ancient Roman ruins of volubilis, which is well preserved as a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESC0). There are many beautiful mosaics scattered around the ruins, as well as ancient pillars and arches. After walking in the ruins for a while, we will drive north through Ouazzane to the town of chefchaouen in the Rif mountains, also known as the blue city, famous for its blue-painted buildings and alleyways. We will stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 2
After breakfast, go for a leisurely stroll in the blue city. Then, we take a motorway through the Rif mountains to Rabat.Rabat is one of the oldest cities in Morocco and the country’s capital. It’s situated in northwest Morocco, on the coast of the Atlantic.

You will be able to visit some of the city’s highlights, including:The Hassan Tower, The Mausolum of Mohammed V as well as The Kasbah Oudaya, After you will check in to your hotel overnight.

Day 3
Following breakfast, we will leave Rabat and make our way along the coast to the city of Casablanca, the most prosperous and largest in Morocco. We will first visit the Hassan II Mosque, which is the second largest mosque in the continent, and then visit the town of Casablanca in the Cornish region.

After that, we will drive inland to the red city of Marrakech, one of the imperial cities in Morocco. You can explore the city freely, and take a stroll in the renowned Jemaa El Fna square. After the day’s activities, we will stay the night at a hotel or in the city of Riad.

Day 4
After a hot breakfast, we’ll be visiting Marrakech’s top attractions with a local guide. You’ll visit the Bahia palace, Saadian tombs, the ben youssef quranic mosque, and take a walk in the largest traditional souk of Morocco.You’ll have free lunch near the square where the Jemaa el-Fna is located. Later, you’ll visit koutoubia, the biggest mosque in marrakech, as well as the majorelle gardens.Finally, you will be transferred to your accommodation. You can wander around in jemaa el-fna by yourself.

Day 5
We collect you from your accommodation in early morning in Marrakech, then take a drive through the picturesque High Atlas mountains, and the pass of Tizi N’Tichka, before continuing to the famous kasbah of ait ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The kasbah has been featured in many films such as Gladiator, Alexander and The Mummy, and TV series including Game of Thrones. After lunch in a local restaurant of the area, we head to the “gate of the desert” where we will spend the night in the ouar zazate, after dinner.

Day 6
After breakfast, we will pick you up to go to one of the studios where various films were shot, then continue to Rose valley, where every year a Rose Festival takes place. During this festival, the locals sell their rose products. Next, we will visit Todra gorges, where the course of the Todra river has carved out a red cliff-sided canyon through the mountains, where you can wander in the gorge and enjoy the beauty of the scenery.

Then, we will drive through Touroug and Tinjdad and the town of Erfoud, before reaching the Sahara desert of Merzouga, where you will switch to camels to cross the sandy desert. Then, we will make a stop for you at a high dune, where you can enjoy the sunset, before continuing to the camp, where you can listen to Berber drums while dancing around the campfire, under the vast open sky full of stars.Dinner and sleep in the desert camp.

Day 7
You will wake up early to appreciate the beautiful sunrise in the center of the desert. You will have free time for breakfast, and then you will return on camels to the town of Merzouga, where the driver will meet you. Then, you will leave the desert to visit the ancient capital of Tafilalet and Rissani town. Rissani town is still a major trading center in the region, and it has a large souk that is lively on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

After a walk in the town of Rissani, you will continue to Erfoud where you will visit one of the workshops of fossilized marble. Then, we will drive along the Ziz river, and have free time for lunch at Midelt. Then, we continue to the cedars forest where the Barbary Macaques live, and you can feed them while walking in the forest. Finally, you will visit Ifrane, known for its low temperature, snow and alpine-style houses, which is why it is called the “Switzerland of Morocco”. Finally, you will be dropped off at the airport or your accommodation in Fes.
