13-DAY TSINGY DE BEMARAHA – BAOBAB ALLEY – NOSY BE.

Embark on the safari tour that will introduce you to the natural wonders of Madagascar ranging from visiting Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, Baobab Alley, to Nosy Be Island including its surroundings. You stand a chance of seeing various species of lemurs and other wildlife species. From there you will visit Madagascar’s capital, its market centers and drive along on its roads.

Day 1
Upon arrival at the airport, we will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it. We warmly welcome you and after that we will drive you to the hotel in Antananarivo from where you will be briefed and all your questions about your expected adventure will be answered.

Day 2
You will be provided with breakfast while at the hotel after which we will visit the Queen’s Palace to learn about the monarchy of Madagascar. We will then head to the market where you will gaze at colorful products and get a better understanding of the Malagasy lifestyle in general. After the visit, we will drive to Antsirabe. On our way, we will have a stop over at Ambatolampy to visit Madagascar’s pot-factory capital. We will finally arrive in Antsirabe. Upon arrival, we head out for a city tour after which you will have your dinner either at the hotel or at the restaurant in town. You will spend the night at Vatolahy hotel.

Day 3
Early in the morning, You will be greeted with a delicious breakfast after which we are going to do a city tour of Antsirabe the third-biggest city in Madagascar after Antananarivo (the capital) then Toamasina where the main seaport is located we will visit the Zebu Horn Factory and Miniatures which make this city popular. We will then do a rickshaw ride along the avenue. We will continue further southwest on the National 34 road which links Antsirabe to Morondava. On the way, we will have several stops for getting nice pictures of the amazing landscape with mountains and zebus, gold mining as well as villager people around.

Day 4
Today, you’ll have your breakfast. Afterwards, we will head out to Bekopaka village, the gateway to the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. The drive through the Baobab Alley is truly amazing. we will then have a quick stop here to get the first feeling of this paradise. After that, we will drive through the forest of baobabs and we will be able to see several villages and cross two different rivers on ferry boats. After the first ferry, we will stop to have lunch in the town called Belo sur Tsiribihina. After lunch, we will continue to Bekopaka. A few kilometers before Bekopaka, we will cross another river which is called the Manambolo River. After the ferry, we will drive for about half an hour to reach the Olympe du Bemaraha Hotel in Bekopaka where we will spend the night.

Day 5
Today, we will be discovering how gifted Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park is. It is home to many species of lemurs, birds, and reptiles. The Park is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is the biggest protected area by the Malagasy State. In the park, we will see the cathedral from the viewpoint, the hanging bridge, and the many indigenous animals that live here such as the sifaka lemur and common brown lemur along with wild birds and the biggest carnivore in Madagascar called the “fossa”. We will also see different kinds of indigenous plants such as the palissandre.bwe will then have lunch, then proceed into the smaller section of the park. We will spend the night at Olympe Du Bemaraha Hotel in Bekopaka.

Day 6
After a tasty breakfast, we will travel south to the city of Morondava. On our way, we will encounter the “In-love Baobab”, which is the unique scene of two large intertwined baobab trees that have grown together. This tree symbolizes the union of two lovers and many couples come here to renew their love.We will then continue our drive to admire the most popular sunset at Baobab Alley. The baobabs located in this region have been around for eight hundred years and it is one of the most popular attractions in Madagascar. After our sunset experience, we continue our drive to our final destination which is Morondava. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel and settle in for the evening.

Day 7
After having breakfast, we will head back to Antsirabe. On the way, we will enjoy visiting many villages including schools. Enjoy exploring the half-desert landscape or simply relax in the car. We will spend the night at the Vatolahy Hotel in Antsirabe.

Day 8
After a late breakfast at the hotel, we will drive back to Antananarivo. On the way, you will enjoy nice scenery and have lunch in a famous restaurant to taste duck liver with many other options. You will spend the night at the Le Tripolitsa Hotel in Antananarivo.

Day 9
After enjoying breakfast, and depending on the flight time, we will drive to the Ivato Airport and board a domestic flight that will take us to the city of Nosy Be. Upon arrival, we will check into the Sable Blanc Hotel and enjoy some free time to either explore the city of Nosy Be or simply relax.

Day 10
On day 10, you will enjoy a free day with time to either relax by the beach or to continue to explore the island of Nosy Be. Or even engage in one of lots of activities such as visiting the nearby islands, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. We will again overnight at the Sable Blanc Hotel.

Day 11
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port of Nosy Be, a speed boat will be the means of transport to Nosy Iranja which will take about 1 and a half hours. Nosy Iranja is a paradise island that is known to be one of the most spectacular islands of Madagascar. You will have lunch here and the food will be based on a combination of mixed seafood. You can do some snorkeling and visit the village of Nosy Iranja during your full day here.

Day 12
After breakfast, we will drive to the airport of Nosy Be and board our one-hour flight in Antananarivo. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel. Once we are settled in, we will continue the day with a visit to the upper city, the Manjakamiadana Palace, and the Andafiavaratra Museum which are historical places of Madagascar.

Day 13
On day 13 of our journey, which is also our last day together, we will have a free morning to shop for souvenirs to take home. During our shopping tour, we will look at the Malagasy craftwork, local spices, vanilla, and much more. After shopping, we will prepare for our departure to Ivato International Airport. We will arrive at the airport 2 hours before your departure time you will then embark on your flight back home, safe journey.
