Activities at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge
- Gorilla Trekking. Trekking mountain gorillas in Bwindi Forest is the primary reason why people visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The cost of gorilla trekking permits is $700 per person. Children under 15 years of age or adults with infectious diseases like flu will not be allowed to trek Uganda gorillas.
- Gorilla Habituation. Gorilla habituation can be described as the process of making mountain gorillas get used to human presence. This process normally takes a period of 2-3 years until gorillas undergo a mocking exercise and pass it. They are then availed for gorilla trekking activities. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is apparently the only gorilla park that offers tourists an opportunity to join rangers and researchers in a 4 hour daily gorilla habituation process.How to get there
