Game drives. Murchison Falls National Park is home to so many species of mammals. The best time for taking a game drive is in the morning or afternoon time.
Launch boat cruise. Launch boat cruises are famous at Murchison Falls National Park and should not be missed while in the park. The boat cruise can be done in the morning, afternoon or evening. During the cruise, you will see a lot of wildlife on the river banks and some of these include elephants, hippopotamuses and crocodiles and various bird species. Once you reach the dramatic waterfalls, you can hike to the top of the falls with magnificent views.
Birding. Murchison Falls National Park is a birders paradise endowed with 451 species of birds, 50 of which are restricted the area. Some of the examples of birds found in the park are rare shoebill stock, black billed barbet, yellow billed stock, rock pranticol, martial eagle, silver bird, grey crowned crested crane, standard winged night jar, saddle billed stork, blue headed coucal, Senegal thick knee, swamp fly catcher and malachite kingfishers among the rest. The best time for birding is early morning and evening time.

Murchison Falls National Park can be reached 5 hours drive from Kampala, the Capital City of Uganda. Travelers can also board from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield to Pakuba or Chobe Airstrips.
