Accommodation at Mweya Safari Lodge is provided in 12 deluxe rooms, 32 standard rooms and 2 suites, cottages, luxury tents, Queens’s cottage and Presidential cottage. There are four luxurious tents self contained with en suite bathrooms, ceiling fans, deck terraces and stunning views of the Kazinga channel.
The standard rooms give a spectacular view of Lake George and Lake Edward. The rooms are well furnished with en suite bathrooms, private balcony and so much more. The deluxe rooms are no much different from standard rooms but they have a touch of superior furnishing and air conditioning. The suites come handy with a spacious living room with sofas perfect for relaxation and refreshment in the rooms’ mini bar after along safari.
There are two family cottages at Mweya Safari Lodge. The Rwenzori Cottage is well furnished with 1 master bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms with shared facilities, a spacious living room with fans which is perfect for relaxation with family. There is also a mini fridge with coffee and tea services. The Royal Cottage is similar to Rwenzori Cottage except it has a master bedroom and 1 twin room with other features almost similar.
The Queen’s Cottage offers ultimate safari comfort overlooking the Kazinga Channel. This is the cottage Queen Elizabeth II of United Kingdom slept in during here visit to Kazinga National Park (Later renamed to Queen Elizabeth National Park to honor her visit).
The cottage comes with ultra master bedroom with a king size bed featuring en suite showers and sunken bath, twin en suite bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchenette full facility, mini bar and AC units among the rest. The presidential cottage also comes with luxurious amenities with almost same features in the Queens cottage.

The swimming pool overlooks the panoramic Kazinga Channel. It is the best place for relaxation after a long tiresome day. There’s an onsite pool bar with waitresses ready to meet your needs as you unwind to nature’s best. The sun desks are equally superb. The business centre is open seven days a week from 7am to 8pm and meets all your business travel needs. The conference hall is the best place to hold your conference away from the city setting. There’s also a gift shop with handmade crafts to take back home for remembrance or as gifts to your loved ones.
The Uganda Wildlife Information Center that exhibits and describes Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Great Rift Valley surroundings is located right within the lodge premises.
At Mweya Safari Lodge, guests can decide to dine at the indoor formal dining area or outside the veranda with stunning views of the channel. Mouth watering meals are prepared by experienced chefs and on Saturday evenings you can enjoy delicious barbeque as you get immersed in performances by local traditional dancers. The Tembo bar serves drinks ranging from wines, beers, spirits and more and it also overlooks Lake Edward and Kazinga channel.
