Experience 8 Days/7 nights in Djibouti & Somaliland. Skip the long drive through the semi-desert regions of the Western part of Somaliland, and fly between the cities of Djibouti (Djibouti) and Hargeisa

Day 1
We pick you up from the airport, Carry and drop your luggage off at your hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore the bustling capital city of Djibouti.

Day 2
In the morning, we’ll take a drive to the lake abbé. Along the way, you’ll pass through the Grand Bara desert and the petit barra desert. You’ll spend the night at the Lake abbé Camp, where you’ll be able to take in the stunning views at sunset. The camp is a settlement of traditional African huts, all of which are very basic.

Day 3
You’ll wake up early to see the sun rise. Lake Abbé is full of beautiful chimneys. On a walking tour to Lake Abbé, you’ll see nomads, flamingos and hot springs. We’ll drive to Lake Assal, Africa’s lowest point. Along the way, we’ll take in panoramic views from Canyon Adalah and Koubet.

Day 4
Djibouti’s oldest city is renowned for its white washed buildings. After a day of sightseeing in Tadjourah, we will head to Plage of Sables Blancs, where you can relax and enjoy white sand beaches and drinks. We will then proceed to the city of Djibouti for an overnight stay before heading to Somaliland tomorrow morning.

Day 5
Upon reaching Hargeisa, You will visit the Civil War Memorial and the Central Market in the city. After a break, you can wander freely in the center of Hargeisa city to get a feel for the locals and the lively atmosphere of the city.

Day 6
Start your day with a visit to the Livestock Market in the early morning. Livestock is the mainstay of the economy in Somaliland. From there, you’ll drive to the Laas Geel rock art site, considered one of the most important rock art sites in Africa. The rich colors and well-preserved paintings are thought to be around 10,000 years old. Continue your drive to Berbera, where you’ll be picked up to your beach hotel. Here, you can relax on the beach and swim while the sun sets. The beach hotel offers snorkeling rentals, diving gear and boat rides.

Day 7
After breakfast, you will visit the historical town of Berbera. The old quarter of Berbera, with its many Ottoman and British buildings, is of historical interest.

You will leave Berbera and make your way to the small mountain town of Sheikh. As you drive through Sheikh, you will enjoy the view and the pleasant weather. At the end of the day, you will make your way to Hageisa, passing through Sheikh Mountains.

Day 8:
Head to the airport to get ready for your flight back home.
